How ranking works

The formula

Total points = paid points + upvotes − downvotes

Every leaderboard sorts its listings by total points, highest first. When two listings tie, the one that joined earlier ranks higher. Paid backing and community voting are always shown separately so you can see where a score came from.

Backing

• $1 of backing adds 100 points.
• Presets are $1, $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100, or type your own amount.
• Points are added only after the payment is confirmed by our payment provider.
• Refunded or charged-back payments have their points removed automatically.
• Backing buys BackWho Points only. There are no prizes, payouts, returns or any form of wagering.

Voting

• A thumbs up adds 1 point, a thumbs down removes 1.
• Voting is free but needs a Google sign-in.
• One active vote per person per listing. You can switch or remove your vote anytime.
• Rapid or automated voting is rate-limited and can pause voting on an account. Confirmed abuse gets votes reversed.

Rank movement

Arrows show how a listing moved since the last ranking snapshot: ↑ means it climbed, ↓ means it slipped, — means no change, and NEW means it has just joined.

Listing rules

• Anyone can list — new listings go live immediately.
• One listing per brand, product or creator. Duplicates get merged or removed.
• No impersonation, misleading claims, adult content, hate or illegal offerings.
• Brands can claim their listing by email or website check to edit it and see analytics.
• Listings involved in suspicious activity can be frozen while we investigate.

Trending

Trending is not a total-points ranking. It looks at recent activity — points gained, new backing, fresh votes, visitor growth and rank movement — so newcomers can surface fast.
